Today Apple unveiled its newest iPad and it will be available to purchase on March 17, 2012. This new iPad boasts a 1536 x 2048 pixel resolution, double that of the iPad 2. It also has improved battery life, 4g data compatibility, better cameras and a faster processor. In comparison to the iPad 2 this device will definitely outperform its predecessor but only if you're willing to dish out the hefty price tag. The starting price is still the same as the iPad 2: $499 for 16 gigabytes of memory, $599 for 32GB and $699 for 64GB but Apple will be cutting the 16 GB iPad 2 by $100 to $399.
